This workshop will cover the basics of water-bath and atmospheric-steam canning for processing tomatoes and tomato products.
Participants will learn the latest canning recommendations related to acidifying tomato products for safe home food preservation and the use of research-based recipes and methods.
A hands-on lab will allow participants the opportunity to use equipment to follow approved recipes and will get the option to take home a finished jar of salsa.
This class requires advance registration.
